The Portola Rail
Museum has an extensive collection of rolling stock and locomotives and
these photos represent only a small part of that collection.
Portola is located along Highway 70 in Plumas County Calif. and 46 miles
Northwest of Reno Nevada.
To reach the museum from I-80 east or west, take the US 395 North exit in Reno,
continue North to
Hallelujah Junction and go west on State Route 70 till you reach Gulling Ave in
Portola, at the light
turn towards downtown Portola and follow the signs.
